Lei Chunyi
is a Chinese language teacher (Category: Profesora Contratada Doctora) with a Ph.D. in the Department of General Linguistics and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, University of Granada. She achieved her Ph.D. in General Linguistics from the University of Granada and holds a bachelors degree in English Philology. Additionally, she obtained a masters degree in foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in China. She has also undertaken Spanish language studies at the University of Havana, Cuba. Before, she worked successively as an English and Spanish language teacher in two Chinese universities. Her primary research areas include Phraseology and Metaphor, Comparative Study between Spanish and Chinese, Chinese Language and Culture. She has authored 5 books dedicated to the contrastive study between Spanish and Chinese, along with about 50 chapters and articles. Furthermore, she has participated as speaker in approximately 40 conferences.
